jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The name Arief Poyuono suddenly disappeared from the elite leadership of the Gerindra Party for the period 2020-2025 which was announced to the public on Saturday (9/19).

The new board structure was announced by the General Secretary of the Gerindra Party DPP, Ahmad Muzani, after the party held an Extraordinary Congress (KLB) in August 2020.

Ahmad Muzani said that this move was announced after being approved by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

According to him, in preparing for the party’s management, Prabowo has paid attention to the opinions, advice and thoughts of the community. However, not all proposals can be accommodated.

Now for the waketum ranks that numbered 12 people, Arief’s name was no longer there. Previously, the general president of the United Workers’ Union Federation (FSP) served as vice president in charge of labor, farmers and fishermen.

When contacted by JPNN.com on Sunday (9/20), Arief over the phone sounded relaxed as he responded to his position, that he was no longer part of the elite Gerindra Party.

“Yeah, the replacement is the same as the youngsters. A lot of them haven’t served, right? It’s not just me,” Arief said.

The following is a conversation with Arief Poyuono about the loss of his name in the leadership of the party led by Prabowo Subianto.
