KUALA LUMPUR, KOMPAS.TV – The photo of a security guard eating raw onion rice in Malaysia became a public debate. His friend said that the security guard deliberately ate with a simple menu and not with the poor.

This was revealed by Apit Lid (33), an ambulance driver who uploaded his friend’s photo for the first time. He admitted that he was surprised his photo could go viral on social media.

“I only asked to take a photo of what he was eating and he wanted to share (share) only with his FB (Facebook) friends, but it went viral until his co-workers found out, so he felt embarrassed,” Apit said, quoted from Kompas.com.

The photo itself does not show the face of the security guard. Apit himself did not reveal the identity of his friend. He said his friend was embarrassed because his photo went viral on social media.

Apit said the security guard came from Nepal. According to him, the security guard eats rice with a garnish of raw onion and garlic every day.

“That is his daily food, there are times (times) that we buy him food, after the viral he no longer eats outdoors,” said Apit.
