Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – The Corruption Eradication Commission ruled on the changes in the organizational structure.
The vice president of the Commission for the Eradication of Corruption, Nurul Ghufron, said that the structural changes in his institution were in line with the strategies to be developed.
“The KPK is now developing the eradication of corruption with 3 methods, namely, first prosecution, second prevention and third education, socialization and campaigns,” Nurul said when confirmed on Wednesday (11/18/2020).
He said that the fight against corruption could no longer use a personal crime approach.
According to him, corruption crimes are currently systemic and need comprehensive management.
“Because we consider that the eradication of corruption can no longer be approached only as a personal crime, but a systemic one, which must also be approached in a comprehensive and systemic manner,” he said.
The KPK changed the organizational structure through Regulation Number 7 of 2020 of the Commission for the Eradication of Corruption regarding the Organization and Work Procedure of the KPK.
The regulation was promulgated on November 6, 2020 by KPK President Firli Bahuri, and promulgated on November 11, 2020.
Through this Perkom Number 7 of 2020, the KPK added 19 positions and positions that were not listed in the previous Perkom.
The 19 new positions and positions are Deputy of Education and Community Participation, Directorate of Educational Networks, Directorate of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaigns.
Then, the Directorate of Development of Community Participation, Directorate of Education and Anticorruption Training, Secretariat of the Diputación de Educación y Participación Comunitaria.
Then, the Directorate of Anti-Corruption of Commercial Entities, Assistant for Coordination and Supervision, Directorate for Regional Coordination and Supervision IV, Assistant Secretary for Coordination and Supervision.
In addition, the Information Management Directorate, the Corruption Detection and Analysis Directorate, Special Personnel, the Center for Strategic Planning for the Eradication of Corruption and Inspection.
Meanwhile, there are three positions and charges that have been removed through Perkom No 7/2020, namely, Internal Supervision and Public Complaints Deputy, Internal Supervision Directorate and the Work Unit of the Anti-Corruption Education Center Anti-corruption learning center (Aclc).
This Perkom also changed the nomenclature of several positions, such as Deputy Inspection to become Deputy Inspection and Enforcement, and Deputy Prevention to become Deputy Prevention and Monitoring.
The additions, subtractions and amendments to the nomenclature can be seen in article 6 of Perkom Number 7 of 2020 which says:
