Ensuring Reunion 212 is canceled, Pangdam Jaya: If they violate, I’m ready to deploy troops

PRECISION JOURNAL – Pangdam Jaya, Major General Dudung Abdurachman, will continue to ensure that the 212 Reunion is canceled.

Meeting 212 was previously scheduled for December 2, 2020, but was canceled according to a written statement from the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI).

“There is already a statement letter from the FPI. They have agreed and there is a statement, it will not hold a meeting,” Dudung said in Jakarta, as quoted by Antara on Monday, November 23, 2020.

The cancellation of the 212 Meeting was reinforced by the call of the Governor of DKI Jakarta regarding Perda 88 of 2020 Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB).



Major General Dudung emphasized that TNI and Polri are ready to deploy troops to take firm action if the FPI statement on the cancellation of Meeting 212 is violated.

“If he rapes, there is no history, the police and I will act decisively. We cannot do it at will,” he explained.

Previously, the FPI-GNPF U-PA 212 through an official statement declared that they could not hold the 212 Reunion on December 2, 2020.
