Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Fabio Quartararo seemed very upset that he couldn’t take the podium Emilia Romagna MotoGP, Sunday (9/20), so he saw himself hitting things after protesting to Butler.
Quartararo couldn’t contain his emotions after receiving an additional three-second penalty for breaking the boundary rules of the track. The added time made him lose third place and he had to be willing to give Pol Espargaró a place to accompany Maverick Viñales and Joan Mir to the podium.
The Petronas Yamaha rider was supposed to serve a long lap penalty, but failed to do so and got an additional three seconds.
In the camera footage in the paddock, uploaded to social media, Quartararo is seen walking quickly after parking the motorcycle.
Even in other camera footage, Quartararo looks so upset that he throws something like a black towel on the floor in front of the butler.
Quartararo also explained that he was disappointed because he felt he did not receive a warning confirming that he had committed a rape.

“I received a long lap penalty, but Race Direction did not give me any warning about the limit of the track. So I was surprised. I am happy with the results of the race because I fought to the end for the podium,” Quartararo was quoted as saying in Motorsport.com.
Canceling the podium occupation means not reaching the top of the drivers’ ranking. Quartararo is now second with 83 points or one point behind Andrea Dovizioso and has the same points as Viñales.
