JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The increase in the transmission of Covid-19 in recent days was due to the long holidays from October 28 to November 1. So said the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan.
“When (cases) go down, there is a long weekend that we do, the consequence is that now we are starting to see an increase in (cases) again,” Anies said in a webinar conducted by DKI DPMPTSP, on Tuesday (11/24). / 2020), quoted from Kompas.com.
He said the increase in Covid-19 transmission cases was also directly proportional to the many community activities outside the home.
“The mobility of the population towards the increase in cases is very pronounced. The more neighbors are outside the house, the greater the increase in cases, ”he said.

Anies explained, in a graph, that the highest active cases occurred in September and began to decline in October and early November.
However, active Covid-19 cases have risen again in recent days, which was originally below the graph line of 8,000 active cases, now back on par with 8,000 active cases.
