Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

Volunteer care for the prevention of Covid-19 Doctor Tirta called on the provincial government of DKI Jakarta to revoke large-scale social restrictions (PSBB), along with the crowd from the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) welcoming the arrival Rizieq Shihab.

Tirta considered that the provincial government of DKI Jakarta, including the central government, has a double standard because it did not stop or take action against the massive gatherings of FPI supporters, including during the wedding ceremony of Rizieq’s daughter on Saturday (14 / 11) which was reportedly attended by thousands of people.

“A figure came here to make a crowd at the airport up to tens of thousands of people, then possibly for a wedding attended by thousands of people, the wedding was even given 20 thousand masks,” Tirta said, referring to the National Agency of Disaster Management (BNPB) in a video uploaded to an Instagram account. dr.tirta, Saturday (11/14).

Tirta’s statement hinted that BNPB handed over 20,000 masks to the masses who attended Rizieq’s daughter’s wedding instead of taking action against the event organizers.

“I am not highlighting their marriage … residents have the right to apply for a permit, Mr. Rizieq Shihab has the right to apply for a permit. But here what is in question is the consistency of the Covid DKI Task Force, the Covid Task Force National, the consistency of the DKI Governor, the consistency of the BNPB, “he said.

“If there is a crowd and you force a mask raid, don’t cut selectively, open everything, why is there a transitional PSBB if there is a public figure with a large crowd (and) scared?” He added.

Tirta regretted the attitude of the government that only took firm measures against violators of the health protocol against ordinary citizens.

This is because, from Rizieq’s arrival in the country that unleashed a crowd at the airport to yesterday’s wedding reception for his daughter, there has been no firm response, no warning, and no government sanction.

In fact, the police through the TMC Polda Metro Jaya made a call to the public to report if they find a crowd of people who violate the Covid-19 protocol.

At his press conference, the Chief of the National Police, General Idham Aziz, issued only one appeal that was also not directed directly at the Rizieq crowd.

“For eight months they sent me an assignment letter (from the government) to educate the public about 3M (wash my hands, wear masks and keep my distance). I traveled to 17 cities and asked for education, including participating in clubroom raids. in Bandung with the West Java Covid Working Group. Pak Ganjar called for the mob raid in Tegal, in Solo, Jogja, “Tirta said.

“Here’s a question about the steadfastness of the DKI government, the DKI Covid Task Force, the National Covid Task Force, the BNPB, the Ministry of Health and the IDI. Where are you? If the crowd is due to marriages targeting tens of thousands of people until the path of protocol is closed, why can’t other weddings be allowed? (held)? ” he said.

Tirta’s statement invited a similar response from the majority of netizens. The hashtag #IndonesiaTerserah reflects the criticism of the crowd of Rizieq supporters, which allowed itself to continue in recent days, including as a trend on Twitter.

The crowd of FPI supporters has continued since Rizieq arrived from Saudi Arabia on Tuesday (11/10). Crowds of up to thousands filled Terminal 3 at Soekarno-Hatta Airport to welcome Rizieq.

As a result of the crowds, traffic to the airport was completely paralyzed and some flights even had to be rescheduled. Most of the Rizieq supporters who arrived at the airport did not follow the rules to keep their distance and wear masks.

Don’t stop there, both Rizieq and his supporters have also violated various government health protocols during the pandemic.

Rizieq did not self-quarantine for 14 days after returning from abroad, instead organizing and attending events that led to mass gatherings of up to thousands of people.

Meanwhile, Rizieq supporters ignored health protocols – that is, keep your distance, wear masks, and don’t gather in large numbers.
