jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Police arrested Abdul Jabar (AJ), a security guard at the Bamboo Inn Palmerah Hotel in West Jakarta, who hit Dr. Ranisa Larasati (RL) with a key on Sunday (12/20) .
West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Audie S Latuheru said the perpetrator’s motive was to rape the victim.
However, because the victim resisted so that his wish did not come true and resulted in persecution.
Timeline, Dr. Ranisa Larasati arrived at the Bamboo Inn Hotel on Sunday morning to take a medical certification exam. The victim then asked the perpetrator, Abdul Jabar, the location of the incident.
Furthermore, the perpetrator ordered the victim to first run a Covid-19 rapid test on the sixth floor, but the victim refused and claimed to have taken the test earlier.
“Although it is known that the sixth floor is an empty floor, so there is already an intention to commit a bad action,” Audie said in her statement on Thursday (12/24).
In the end, the victim agreed to follow the assailant to the sixth floor. AJ himself, before entering the elevator, took a wrench from the hotel’s engine room.
While in the elevator, the perpetrator attempted to kiss the victim, but the victim was able to escape. This enraged the perpetrator and hit the doctor.
Upon reaching the sixth floor, the assailant asked the victim for 500 thousand rupees. However, Dr. Ranisa only gave 150 thousand rupees.
