KOMPAS.com – Distribution of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) or Productive Banpres for micro, small and medium-sized companies (UMKM) affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

This program is channeled through the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop UKM).

The BLT program UMKM or Presidential Assistance (Banpres) Productive Microenterprises (BPUM) provides funds of Rs 2.4 million to MSME players who pass the selection.

To obtain this assistance, micro-entrepreneurs must register through the local Cooperative and the UMKM Office according to their address.

After registering, if the MSME actor is declared entitled to assistance, he will receive an SMS notification from the channeling bank, that is, BNI and BRI.

However, there were those who claimed to have received notification of disbursement of funds, although they did not register as BLT UMKM recipients.

One of the accounts on Twitter’s social networks, for example, mentions that there are those who do not have UMKM but are registered as recipients and receive a disbursement notification.

How could this happen?

UKM Minister for Cooperatives explanation

Menkop UKM Teten Masduki said this could happen and BLT UMKM recipients were only contacted by pipeline banks.

However, there is still an additional verification process by the bank.

“It does not have to be accepted. It was certainly only contacted by BNI or BRI. Because the recipient has to go (to the bank), self-knowledge that the person concerned meets the requirements to receive,” Teten said when contacted. Kompas.com, Sunday (10/25/2020).

Teten urges microenterprise actors who have not received the Presidential Productive Advisory to immediately propose their microenterprise through the established proposing agency.

The bank is just a dealer

BRI Corporate Secretary Aestika Oryza Gunarto said that all data on BPUM recipients had been proposed by the proponent and determined by Kemenkop UKM.

BRI only acts as the distributor bank to process the data of the beneficiary SK in accordance with the applicable provisions.

“As long as the applicant proposes and is determined by the Ministry of Cooperatives in the form of a recipient decree, BRI, as a channel bank, will continue to process it in accordance with the applicable regulations,” Aestika said when contacted separately by Kompas.com, Sunday (10/25/2020).

Aestika revealed that the public can check the status of the beneficiaries through the portal developed by BRI, namely https://eform.bri.co.id/bpum.
