Jumisih said, it was at this time that President Jokowi should have listened to the aspirations of the people.
According to him, even work visits to the regions could be postponed due to the urgent demands of some elements of society.
“He said that the president was from the people, he said he wanted to hear the aspirations of the people, he said that to be president of the people, it must be done (to know the workers),” Jumisih said.
It is known that the Presidential Palace in Jakarta will be the site of demonstrations by various elements of society that reject the Employment Creation Law.
This demonstration is the culmination of a wave of community protests following the approval of the Employment Creation Law through a plenary session in the Indonesian Parliament, on Monday (10/5/2020).

For example, the abolition of a particular working time (PKWT) agreement, which is seen as increasingly massive to enforce contract work.
