Tottenham must be satisfied to score a point when they host Newcastle in the Premier League. In a match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (9/27/2020) WIB night, the Lilywhites were forced to draw 1-1.

Tottenham took the lead first thanks to a goal from Lucas Moura in the 25th minute. This lead lasted until the game entered the final minutes.

On the penalty for Newcastle, Mourinho declined to comment because he did not want to be punished by the FA. The Portuguese coach chose to comment on the performance of Newcastle goalkeeper Karl Darlow.

“All I want to say is that my team is playing very well. I want to be on the bench in the next game and I don’t want to be fined (so I don’t want to talk about penalties),” Mourinho said. BBC Radio 5 Live.

“I think (Karl) Darlow (Newcastle goalkeeper) is the man of the match, unless you want to give it to someone other than a player.”

“Their goalkeeper was there to make saves. It’s fantastic,” he added.

With this result, Tottenham remains stuck in seventh place in the Premier League standings with four points from three games. Newcastle also have the same number of points, only losing on goal difference to Tottenham.
