Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Volunteer care for the prevention of Covid-19 Doctor Tirta Mandira Hudhi believes that the government should be firm with everyone violators of the health protocol COVID-19.
He compared the government’s attitude to the crowd. Rizieq Shihab and a crowd of President Jokowi’s son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, registering as a candidate for mayor of Solo.
Tirta said the government shouldn’t just question the Rizieq crowd because the same thing happened to Gibran in Solo.
“If you want to be wise, be firm, let’s all be firm. Don’t be the son of the president in Solo (the campaign is not being reprimanded). Habib Rizieq was reprimanded, everyone (should) be reprimanded,” Tirta said on the Club’s program Indonesian Lawyers aired on TV One on Tuesday (11/17)).
Tirta said that since the corona virus broke out in Indonesia, he had often criticized the government’s reluctance to crack down on crowds. For example, regarding the dangdutan crowd at Wisma Atlet, the crowd at McDonald’s Sarinah fast food restaurant, the crowd at Waterboom Medan, the Omnibus Law demonstration, and many more.
In Rizieq’s case, according to Tirta, the government should have taken serious steps from the start to anticipate the Rizieq crowd. One of them is to invite the FPI and the Rizieq camp to dialogue.
“We already know that there are many masses of Habib Rizieq, he should have invited Habib to educate him. Has he been invited to a dialogue, have the selected figures been invited to a discussion?” he said.
Tirta also regretted the removal of Inspector General Nana Sujana from the post of Kapolda Metro Jaya. Nana was previously removed for failing to comply with orders to enforce health protocols related to the prevention of Covid-19.
According to Tirta, since the pandemic, Nana has done her job quite well. One of them is the distribution of masks to factories.
“The Kapolda Metro distributes masks to factories, it is not considered. That’s why (Rizieq’s crowd) was removed, ”Tirta said.
There have been crowds since Rizieq Shihab’s return to Indonesia on Tuesday last week. The crowd started during Rizieq’s welcome at Soekarno-Hatta airport until Prophet Muhammad SAW’s birthday and Rizieq’s daughter’s wedding on Saturday (11/14).

In the wake of the crowd, Rizieq’s party was fined 50 million rupees. In addition, the Chief of the National Police, General Idham Azis, also dismissed the Chief of Police for Metro Jaya and the West Java Regional Police regarding the implementation of health protocols amid a pandemic.
Not only that, the police are investigating alleged crimes in the crowd at the wedding of Rizieq Shihab’s daughter. In this case, Polda Metro Jaya requested information from several officials of the DKI provincial government, including Governor Anies Baswedan.
In Gibran’s case, there was a crowd when he registered as Solo’s mayoral candidate at the KPU Solo office, Jalan Kahuripan Utara, Sumber, Banjarsari district, on September 4.
At that time, Gibran, who registered with his partner, Teguh Prakosa, was greeted by thousands of followers. Supporters and cadres dispersed along the road in front of the KPU office in small groups. They ignore the rules of keeping their distance and the obligation to wear masks.
At the time, the Election Supervision Agency (Bawaslu) did not sanction Gibran on the grounds that when the crowd broke out, Pilkada’s campaign period had not yet started.
