Deputy Director of Public Relations and Inter-Institutional BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Irvansyah Utoh Banja, confirmed the SMS.
“The SMS is true,” Utoh replied when confirming. Kompas.com, Sunday (9/6/2020) afternoon.
According to him, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan or BP Jamsostek detected a participant who was no longer working and had withdrawn the balance of the Old Age Security (JHT), so the company did not report it in the data of the account number for the possible beneficiaries of the wage subsidy.
“However, they are still registered as active participants on June 30, 2020, so they are entitled to obtain BSUs according to Permenaker 14/2020,” Utoh said.
For this reason, BP Jamsostek also tries to contact these participants personally so that they can confirm their account numbers and become potential BSU recipients.
BP Jamsostek asks participants to immediately confirm their National Identification Number (NIK) and their account number through a special link included in the message.
In the meantime, Utoh said, the link provided is personal.
“The link provided is special / personal and can only be filled by the interested party, not by other participants,” he explained.
Utoh also said that if there were problems filling in the data in the special link, participants could contact the HRD of the previous company.
How to check
In general, to determine whether an employee is the recipient of this Rs 600,000 aid from the Ministry of Manpower, participants can ask the company’s human resources department or employer directly.
In addition, participants can independently verify through the link https://sso.bpjsketenagakerjaan.go.id/, then verify through that page whether the information in the participant’s account already contains information about the account number.
Previously, Utoh explained, currently 14.3 million account numbers have been collected from the target recipients of the 15.7 million wage subsidies.
Meanwhile, the number of validated data currently reaches 11.5 million.
“Of that total we have presented 2.5 million last Sunday and 3 million yesterday, so a total of 5.5 million data of participants were in two stages,” he said.
He said that there were two things that BP JAMSOSTEK had done with the accounts of workers that did not pass the validation process, namely:
- The first alternative, the account number data will be returned to the participating companies for reconfirmation, if the cause is not due to the incompatibility of Permenaker 14/2020.
- The second alternative, when the valid cause is due to the inadequacy of the criteria established in Permenaker 14/20, the account number will not automatically be included in the BSU recipient list.

“The deadline has been extended until September 15, 2020,” he explained.
