JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The head of DKI Jakarta Health Service Widyastuti said that there is no sub-district in DKI Jakarta that has not experienced an additional case of Covid-19.
This means that the number of Covid-19 cases has increased in all sub-districts of all cities / regencies of Jakarta.
It is based on rate incidence rate (IR) and the addition of vulnerable RWs or red zones in DKI Jakarta from RW 21 to RW 55 as of Dec 27, 2020.
“This increase came with the IR rate per area of 19.58, subdistrict an average of 25.43 and subdistrict 30.64,” Widyastuti said in a written statement on Sunday (3/1/2021 ).
He said there were only two sub-districts that had no additional cases, namely Kelapa Island Village and Pari Island in the Thousand Islands Regency.

Widyastuti also explained that the effective reproductive value (Rt) is at an alarming rate with the level of transmission in the community showing a score of 1.06 as of January 2, 2021.
This score decreased compared to the previous week, that is, 1.07 on December 26, 2020.
However, Widyastuti said, the Rt value had to be below number 1 for the Covid-19 outbreak to be declared well under control.
Although these data show an increase in Covid-19 cases in DKI Jakarta, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, has not tightened large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).

Anies chose to adopt the policy of extending the PSBB during the transition period until January 17.
According to him, based on an evaluation of indicators by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), DKI Jakarta managed to improve the value from high risk on December 20, 2020 to medium risk on December 27, 2020 and on December 3, 2020. January 2021.
Meanwhile, the assessment score based on the Covid-19 control indicator of the Faculty of Public Health of the University of Indonesia (FKM UI) was 59 as of January 2, 2021, decreasing compared to the previous weeks, that is, a score of 61 on December 19 and 26, 2020.
“Based on the assessment of BNPB and FKM UI, we decided to extend the PSBB Transitional Period until January 17, 2021,” Anies said.

Looking at the latest data, the total Covid-19 cases in DKI Jakarta as of Jan 3, 2021 was recorded as 189,243 cases.
Of these cases, 170,510 people were declared cured, 15,388 patients were still in treatment and 3,345 patients died.
