Trump himself has four casinos in the city. In addition to Trump Plaza, Trump World’s Fair (closed in 1999), Trump Marina (sold in 2011) and Trump Taj Mahal (closed in 2016).
The subsidiary that runs the former president’s property in the city, Trump Entertainment Resorts, has filed for bankruptcy three times. Namely, in 2004, 2009 and 2014, burdened with debt.
