Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Depok City’s Covid-19 Management Acceleration Task Force published a series of policies to suppress the spread of Covic-19. One of the policies is to restrict community activities to 8:00 pm WIB.

This was the launch of the Depok City Covid-19 Management Acceleration Task Force signed by Depok Mayor KH Mohammad Idris as chair of the Depok City Covid-19 Management Acceleration Task Force, which was received by CNBC Indonesia on Sunday (8/30/2020).

CNBC Indonesia is trying to confirm Depok City Covid-19 Task Force spokesperson Dadang Wihana regarding this latest policy.

According to the Covid-19 Management Acceleration Working Group, there was an increase in confirmed positive cases in the 24 and 25 week period. Most or around 70% originate from imported boxes.

“These imported cases originate from clusters of offices and workplaces, which have an impact on transmission within the family,” Idris said.

To control the increase and spread of cases in Depok City, he said several policies had been issued.

“The restrictions on direct service operations in stores, restaurants, cafes, mini markets, midi markets, supermarkets and shopping centers are until 6:00 pm WIB. Especially for delivery services it can be done until 9:00 pm WIB,” said Idris.

“All resident activities are limited to a maximum of 20.00 WIB.”

All of these policies are effective as of Monday (8/31/2020).

Furthermore, Idris said that the Depok government would optimize the role of Covid-19 Alert Village. The Depok city government will also optimize the implementation of social restrictions through the RW-based social restrictions policy.

Another step is to carry out a strict monitoring and control of the health protocols for residents and offices, increasing mass swab testing, optimizing the WFH in the offices of the ASN of the Depok City Government.

“Let’s jointly implement health protocols consistently and pass on friendly information to create peace for citizens,” said Idris.

Quoting the page pikobar.jabarprov.go.id, confirmed positive cases in Depok to date have reached 1,764. Of that number, 993 patients recovered and 53 died.
