Densus 88 secures 6 suspected terrorists in Sidoarjo

Sidoarjo (beritajatim.com) – The Densus 88 team from the National Police Headquarters arrested six suspected terrorists in Sidoarjo. The six perpetrators were arrested in different places in the Sidoarjo area.

In about 3 hours, the Densus 88 team from the Police Headquarters carried out an operation against the terrorist network JAD.

East Java Regional Police Chief Kombespol Gatot Repli Handoko confirmed the arrest of suspected terrorists when confirmed. According to him, the prosecution took place in various locations in East Java.

“We can say that the arrests of the alleged terrorists occurred in four locations,” police said with three jasmine on their shoulders, to the press on Friday (2/26/2021).

Gatot said the first arrests took place in Medokan Sawah, Surabaya. After securing a suspected terrorist, the team carried out developments in three other locations. Namely, Sidoarjo, Mojokerto and Malang.

Sidoarjo, there are six terrorism suspects who were successfully arrested. The Densus 88 team first arrested a man with the initials TS (53), a resident of Perum Candiloka, Candi, who was insured at Jalan Raya Candi Sidoarjo.

The second suspect was arrested in Jalan Raya Juanda, with the suspect with the initials UBS (56), a resident of Kwangsan Village, Sedati district. Meanwhile, the third suspect was arrested in front of Perum Taman Puspa Sari, Klurak Village, Kec. Candi, supposedly with the initials BR (56), is a resident of the public company Taman Puspa Sari Candi.

The fourth suspect was arrested in Jalan Raya Sedati, the suspect with the initials AS (48), a resident of Wonokromo, Surabaya. The fifth suspect with the initials YS (52), a resident of Perum Candiloka, Balonggabus, Candi, and the suspect YS were seized at the Juanda Tourist Market, Kec. Sedati.

Meanwhile, the sixth suspect was arrested in Jalan Perumahan Bumi Candi Asri, kec. Candi, initials RBM (47), resident of Bumi Candi Asri Housing, Ngampelsari Village, Kec. Temple.

The six suspected terrorists were sent to the East Java regional police headquarters and further investigations were carried out. The provisional suspicion of the six authors is the JAD (Jamaah Anshorut Daulah) network. (isa / kun)
