The Special Detachment 88 (Denso 88) of the Antiterrorist Police Headquarters registered 2 places suspected of being linked to terrorist activities on Friday (2/4/2021). The two locations that were searched were in Kapanewon Berbah, Sleman.
In the first location, the Densus searched the house located at RT 06 RW 05, Dawukan, Sendangtirto, Berbah, Sleman. The ransacked house belonged to a man with the initials H.
The officer conducted a search of the area around the scene beginning at dusk. It appears that the entire area is guarded by police officers. Unauthorized citizens are prohibited from passing. The new operation ended around 7.30pm WIB.
RW 05 Dawukan chief Sendangtirto Berbah Kadiyono said the search was conducted after dark.
“They asked me to be a witness. I got there after sunset,” Kadiyono said when meeting at his residence on Friday (2/4/2021).
During the search, he witnessed officers carrying various items.
“Like a sword, but rich. There are also books,” he explained.
During the search, H was not seen in the house. According to the information obtained by Kadiyono, H had already made sure beforehand.
“He said that (H) had already been brought (by the officer),” he explained.
As Kadiyono explained, H was not a resident of Sendangtirto. But Tegaltirto, Berbah. He also admitted that he knew H.
“I know him well, there is nothing strange. If there is voluntary work, I don’t know if there is work,” he said.
