Meanwhile, Medan Police Chief Kombes Pol Riko Sunarko said that 7 policemen in Medan were injured during the demonstration. One of them is a policewoman.
Staff were injured as a result of being stoned by protesters with stones and various other objects.
“There were seven of our members who were injured, one of whom was a policeman. The action was not violent, everything was under control. There are people who are anarchists but everything is under control,” he explained.
The destruction also occurred in Makassar, South Sulawesi. The traffic police post and the Rappocini police headquarters were damaged. Also, the videotron in front of the South Sulawesi governor’s office and the launch at Rappocini police headquarters.
