Death convict Cai Changpan found suicide dead

“We found the person in a suicidal situation,” Jaya Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus of the Kabidhumas Polda subway said on Saturday.

Police are still gathering evidence and witnesses to investigate the facts of Changpan’s death.

Regarding more information about Changpan’s death, Yusri claimed that his party was still going deep.

Changpan’s body was found in a tire factory in the Jasinga area on Saturday morning.

The police obtained information on Changpan’s whereabouts from the factory security guard. It is said that Changpan usually spends the night at the factory.

“Information from the security guard often spent the night there, not every day,” Yusri said.

The security guard was also threatened by Changpan not to appear before anyone.

Cai Changpan is a person sentenced to death in a drug case in China. He fled from Tangerang Class I Prison, Banten, on September 14, 2020.

Changpan managed to escape after digging a hole in the prison 30 meters away.

This escape was not Changpan’s first. It was recorded that on January 24, 2017, the drug lord who possessed 135 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine also escaped from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police Headquarters.
