jpnn.com, JAKARTA – DKI Jakarta residents who refuse to take a rapid Covid-19 test or swab test will be subject to penalties in the form of administrative fines.
The regulation is contained in the Regional Regulation on Covid-19 Management Article 29, Chapter 10 on Criminal Provisions which was ratified by the DKI Jakarta DPRD on Monday (10/19).
“Anyone who deliberately refuses to perform the Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction or Molecular Rapid Test, and / or a supporting examination conducted by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, will be punished with a maximum fine of Rp 5,000,000.00 ( five million rupees), “says Article 29.
Additionally, residents who refuse to be vaccinated will also receive administrative penalties.
“Any person who deliberately refuses to receive Covid-19 treatment and / or vaccination will be sanctioned with a maximum fine of Rp. 5,000,000.00 (five million rupees)”, says article 30.
It is known that the Perda on the management of Covid-19 contains 11 chapters with 35 articles.
As indicated in article 3, the existence of this regional regulation is aimed at providing protection to public health against the transmission and spread of Covid-19. (mcr1 / jpnn)
