The women’s doubles pair Yuki Fukushima / Sayaka Hirota took the podium for the first time after defeating their compatriots Mayu Matsumoto / Wakana Nagahara.

Fukushima / Hirota excelled first in the first gym. The world-ranked pair stood out with a convincing score of 21-10.
