The government has cut the end of 2020 holidays by three days. Here is the new schedule for the holidays after the reduction.
“So technically there is a reduction of holidays and collective vacations by three days, that is, 28, 29, 30,” said Menko PMK Muhadjir Effendy at a virtual press conference on Tuesday (12/01/2020 ).
Initially, the end of the year holidays add up to a total of 11 days when added from Saturday to Sunday from December 24, 2020 to January 1, 2021. Long holidays are a combination of Christmas holidays, Christmas holidays, substitutes of the license with Eid al-Fitr and national New Years holidays.

Now the replacement of the license with Eid al-Fitr from December 28 to 30, 2020 is eliminated. Thus, the day off was reduced by three days.
The following is the new schedule for the end of the year vacation after deduction:
Thursday, December 24, 2020: Joint license for Christmas
Friday, December 25, 2020: Christmas Holidays
Thursday, December 31, 2020: instead of license with Eid al-Fitr 1441 Hijriah
Friday, January 1, 2021: New Years AD 2021
There are a total of 2 national holidays and 2 group vacation days. Thus, there are two long weekends between weekdays.
First, there are 4 holidays in a row from December 24 to 25, 2020 (Thursday to Friday) and December 26 to 27, 2020 (Saturday to Sunday). Long weekend the second is from December 31, 2020 to January 1, 2021 (Thursday to Friday) and from January 2 to 3, 2021.
The vacation reduction was based on the leadership of President Joko Widowo (Jokowi) on Monday (11/23/2020). Subsequently, PMK Coordinating Minister Muhadjir Effendy followed up with the board by holding a meeting and deciding to reduce holidays.
