BOLASPORT.COM – Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson said the win over Manchester United did not surprise him.

Unexpectedly, Crystal Palace won when they faced Manchester United in the second week of the 2020-2021 Premier League, on Saturday (8/19/2020).

Crystal Palace successfully closed the home game against the Red Devils with a 3-1 victory.

Andros Townsend’s goal in the 7th minute put Crystal Palace ahead of Manchester United until halftime.

In the second half, specifically in the 74th minute, Crystal Palace managed to double its position thanks to a Wilfried Zaha penalty.

Six minutes after Zaha’s goal, Manchester United managed to reduce their deficit to 1-2 thanks to Donny van de Beek’s shot from inside the penalty area.

However, five minutes before the end of regulation time, Zaha scored again for Crystal Palace and caused the Eagles to end the game with a 3-1 victory.

Crystal Palace’s success in beating Manchester United at home surprised many games.

However, Crystal Palace coach Roy Hodgson doesn’t feel the same way.
