SuaraJakarta.id – The Indonesian Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim) arrested 8 high-ranking officials of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (WE) and activists in Jakarta and Medan. They were arrested at a different time and place.
Two of those arrested were Jumhur Hidayat and OUR Declarer Anton Permana.
The news of the arrest was confirmed by Karo Penmas, Public Relations Division of the National Police Headquarters, Brigadier General Setiyono.
Awi said that Jumhur was arrested at his residence on Tuesday (10/13/2020) this morning.
“Yes, Anton yesterday, if on Friday morning he was arrested,” Awi said.
According to information gathered by Suara.com, the police have assigned at least four US officials.
All four, namely the President of North Sumatra of the United States, Khairi Amri; OUR Executive Committee member Syahganda Nainggolan; Declarant member of OUR Executive Committee, Jumhur Hidayat; and OUR Declarer, Anton Permana.
In addition to US officials, the police also reportedly arrested several activists.
