JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Member of the Expert Team of the Covid-19 Working Group (Working Group), Dewi Nur Aisyah, said that there were 20 activities / conditions that the community should be aware of in order to avoid the risk of transmission of Covid-19.

The 20 activities involve large numbers of people and are prone to causing crowds.

“It is important that we remind all Indonesians that there are community activities that we need to do more carefully,” Dewi said in an online discussion broadcast on the BNPB YouTube channel on Wednesday (2/9/2020).

The activities mentioned are social activities, Thai, recitation, marriage, and worship and evacuation.

In addition, extreme caution should be prioritized when conducting activities in dormitories, pensions, public transportation, Islamic boarding schools, dense settlements, MRT-LRT-KRL, and orphanages.

Then markets, sports communities, offices / industry, tourist attractions, worship, apartments, health facilities, and entertainment venues.

“If you were careful before, you have to be very careful when you go about your business,” Dewi said.

In addition, Dewi also advised people to reduce the time they travel away from home, whether it be for shopping, social activities, sports, etc.

According to him, the discipline of wearing masks, washing hands and keeping distance (3M) is mandatory.

“3M should be done and if possible, avoid chatting in public,” added Dewi.

Meanwhile, the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has been running for exactly six months today, beginning with the announcement of the first coronavirus-infected patient on March 2, 2020.

However, so far there have been no signs of declining transmission of the corona virus.

The government even shows data that the number of Covid-19 cases is increasing.

This number was due to the addition of 3,075 new boxes of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
