“According to data from the Ministry of Health, there is a significant increase in cases, namely 8,369 cases. This high number is due to the inadequate system to accommodate real-time reporting and validation of the province’s data,” he said the spokesperson for the Covid-19 Management Working Group, Professor Wiku Adisasmito. , at today’s conference.

With the limitation of this system, a lot of data from the regions lags behind so they only accumulated today. “For example, Papua reported 1,755 cases, which is an accumulation of additional positive cases from November 19 to today,” Wiku said.

For this reason, Wiku requested that each region that registers data differences with the center is expected to consolidate the data with the Ministry of Health.
