Manchester City’s unbeaten streak has reached 20 games in a row. However, Pep Guardiola said his team still had room to develop.

City won in their last game in the Premier League. Trip to Burnley Headquarters on Turf Moor, Thursday (2/4/2021) WIB early morning, The citizens won by a score of 2-0.

That means City have been undefeated in their last 20 matches in all competitions. Surprisingly, City eliminated the victory in the last 13 matches in a row.

However, Pep Guardiola believes that his team still needs to improve.

“A lot,” Guardiola said when asked if there was still room for City to grow.

“Today we lost some easy balls, that’s the only thing that worries me. I asked them to try to be simple, we tried.”

Manchester City will then travel to Anfield to face Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend, on Sunday (7/2/2021) WIB night. Guardiola wants his team to enjoy the victory over Burnley first before thinking of Liverpool.

“For now we are enjoying this game, tomorrow we start thinking about the next game,” Guardiola said.

“The number of points (contested) is the same, but against competitors. In the end the goal is to be champions.”

“Against the last team people can say that victory is guaranteed, but we know how difficult it is. We have to do our best and now we face different teams with different styles of play. Now it will be difficult games.”
