DIY NEWS – Social media services company Facebook disbursed a Rs 12.5 billion grant to support Indonesian Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs).
According to Facebook Indonesia Director Pieter Lydian, this step was taken to help restore MSMEs that were affected by the economy due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“UKM is going through very difficult times, many of them are trying to adapt and take advantage of online platforms. We listen to the challenges UKM owners face and would like to provide them with helpful support, including financial support, to help them recover, reorganize their strategies and restore their business performance, “said Pieter Lydian.

Registration for Facebook’s UMKM assistance program has been open since October 6 and will close on October 12.

Conditions for getting help from UMKM on Facebook
– Has from 2 to 50 employees
– Your business has been running for over a year.
– Affected by the COVID-19 pandemic
– Located in the vicinity of the Facebook operational areas
