The Best FIFA Football Awards 2020 was held at FIFA Headquarters, Zurich, Switzerland, on Thursday (12/17/2020) local time or Friday at 01:00 WIB.

The 2020 Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony was held practically considering the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Best FIFA Football Awards 2020 are divided into several categories including best player, best goalkeeper, best coach and best goal (Puskas Award), which includes both men and women.

From the 2020 World’s Best Coach category for male coaches, Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp became the winner.

Juergen Klopp was able to beat two main competitors, Hans-Dieter Flick (Munich) and Marcelo Bielsa (Leeds United).

Klopp’s success helped Liverpool win the Premier League title last season, which was the first time in 30 years that he became their benchmark.

This title also became the second for the German strategist after winning the same award in the previous edition.

Meanwhile, the title of Best Goalkeeper in the World 2020 was won by Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
