BOLASPORT.COM – The Best FIFA Football Awards 2020 have been held and the list of award winners has been officially announced.
The Best FIFA Football Awards 2020 was held at FIFA Headquarters, Zurich, Switzerland, on Thursday (12/17/2020) local time or Friday at 01:00 WIB.
The 2020 Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony was held practically considering the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Best FIFA Football Awards 2020 are divided into several categories including best player, best goalkeeper, best coach and best goal (Puskas Award), which includes both men and women.

There are other categories that received The Best FIFA Football Awards this time around, namely the Fairplay award, the FIFA foundation award, the best player of the century, and the fan award.
The 2020 World Player of the Year title in the men’s footballer category went to Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
Robert Lewandowski successfully eliminated two strong candidates, Lionel Messi (Barcelona) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus).
Lewandowski deserves to be awarded the 2020 World Player of the Year for his impressive performances with Bayern Munich in the 2019-2020 season.

He successfully led Munich to embrace the triplet winners, making the Polish striker deserve the title of 2020 FIFA World Player.
From the 2020 World’s Best Coach category for male coaches, Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp became the winner.

Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski was named the 2020 FIFA World Player of the Year.
Juergen Klopp was able to beat two main competitors, Hans-Dieter Flick (Munich) and Marcelo Bielsa (Leeds United).
Klopp’s success helped Liverpool win the Premier League title last season, which was the first time in 30 years that he became their benchmark.

This title also became the second for the German strategist after winning the same award in the previous edition.
Meanwhile, the title of Best Goalkeeper in the World 2020 was won by Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp won the FIFA 2020 best manager award.
Manuel Neuer is ahead of two other great goalkeepers, Jan Oblak (Atlético de Madrid) and Alisson Becker (Liverpool).
Like Lewandowski, Manuel Neuer is also one of the key figures in Die Roten’s success in winning the triplets, namely the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and the Champions League last season.

This year’s best goal, also known as the Puskas Awards, was won by Tottenham Hotspur player Son Heung-Min.
