jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Some information on social media indicates that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will release the Governor of South Sulawesi, Nurdin Abdullah. From the information it was also stated that Nurdin was innocent, for which he was released.

Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri said there was no speech so far to free or find Nurdin innocent. This is because investigators are still investigating the former ruler of Bantaeng.

“We are currently conducting intensive examinations of the parties that were caught in the act. Among them are the regional chiefs,” Fikri said when confirmed on Saturday (2/27).

Fikri told all parties not to speculate beforehand about Nurdin’s fate and the case. Fikri hopes that other parties await the process that is currently taking place.

“Within 1×24 hours we will immediately determine the attitude of this hand-grabbing activity,” Fikri said.

Fikri ensures that KPK operates in accordance with applicable legal procedures.
