jpnn.com, JAKARTA TIMUR – A group of mobs attacked the Ciracas police headquarters in Jalan Raya Bogor, east Jakarta, on Saturday (8/29) morning.

The perpetrators damaged several police facilities with hard objects and carried out incendiary actions.

Two policemen were injured as a result of the attack by a group of unidentified people.

Two operational cars were damaged. One of them is the operating car of the deputy chief of police.

“An operational car of the deputy chief of police was set on fire and the glass operation bus broke,” Polda Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Public Relations Chief Yusri Yunus said at the scene.

Furthermore, two Ciracas Police officers who were patrolling at night were reportedly wounded in the finger when they were hit by a sharp object.

“Actually, three members were injured, but two were injured, one was fine,” he said.

ANTARA’s observation at the site reported that there was also damage to the section of the fence of the Police Headquarters that collapsed after the incident and the broken glass of the Ciracas Police Headquarters.
