KOMPAS.com – Since the last two weeks, Sabar Suharno (46), a resident of RT 002 RW 010, Ajibarang Wetan Village, Ajibarang District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java, has fenced his home with zinc.

He made this decision because Sabar Suharno was afraid of being exposed to the corona virus, especially since his son was going to Cairo in mid-January 2021.

Every day Suharno works as a traveling merchant

Sabar Suharno and her family live in a densely populated area. Practically Sabar Suharno’s house is completely invisible from the outside because it is covered with zinc.

He said he had implemented health protocols that included covering his house with zinc.

“Covid-19 is in sight. I’ll tell you what (by closing the house with zinc) I’m not sure I can be protected, but this is my best effort,” Sabar said.

Suharno admitted that he didn’t really question people’s response to his attitude.

He also admitted that he had asked the local RT chief for permission to close the house.

“People always have pros and cons, I don’t have any problems, I don’t interfere with the environment either. I’m just trying to protect myself,” Sabar said.

In fact, he did not allow his out-of-town friends to come to his house.

“Yesterday a friend of mine who came from outside the city wanted to go through here, but I did not allow it, he was close to here,” Sabar said.

Meanwhile, to communicate with the neighbors, Suharno put a small chair behind a tin fence inside the house.

Not just excessive fear. Sabar Suharno did this so that he and his family were not exposed to the crown.

Because in the near future Suharno’s first son will continue his studies in Cairo, Egypt.

Various preparations have been made for a long time. However, until the departure of the first of three brothers, the spread of Covid-19 had not been controlled.

“My reason is actually because my first child, a boy, is now 20 years old and wants to go to Cairo on January 13,” Sabar said when meeting at his home on Friday (1/8/2021).

In fact, Sabar also limits his children to leaving the house, except for urgent needs.
