KOMPAS.com – The Family Hope Program (PKH) is one of the social benefits provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs in 2021.

Along with two other welfare programs, the distribution of PKH welfare will begin on January 4, 2021.

PKH attendance is provided in several categories, one of which is attendance for elementary to high school students, with details of different amounts.

Here are the details of the BLT size for students:

  • Primary school students / equivalent to 900,000 IDR per year
  • High school students / equivalent to 1.5 million rupees per year
  • High school students / IDR equivalent to 2 million per year.

Social assistance for elementary students is provided up to 1 child in the PKH family.

How to get it?

Citing a page Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos), SD, SMP and SMA student assistance is provided to poor families (KM) who are designated as beneficiary families (KPM) of PKH welfare.

There are a number of established criteria for obtaining this help.

Among these criteria, the recipients must be categorized as KM that is registered in the Integrated Data for the Management of the Poor.

In addition, it must have a component of relatives who are included in the category of beneficiaries.

Assistance will be provided directly through the banks included in the Black Bank Association (Himbara).

The aid was distributed 4 times, namely in January, April, July and October.

Please note that there are restrictions on PKH attendance if there are pregnant women, students, the elderly, or people with disabilities in a family.

Attendance is reported for a maximum of 4 people in a family.

If there are several children in a family that belong to students, then the provisions are as follows:

  • Maximum 1 child of SD / equivalent school age in PKH family
  • Maximum 1 SMP child / equivalent school age in PKH family
  • Maximum 1 SMA child / equivalent school age in PKH family

How to Get Help for Elementary Students

The following ways to get a BLT for students:

  • To obtain this aid, a Social Protection Card is required.
  • If you don’t have a KPS, you can submit an application to RT / RW and then send it to the village.
  • If he is truly worthy of assistance funds, the village chief will inform the district welfare officer.
  • Once these procedures are completed, they can receive a PKH card and take their rights in accordance with the provisions established by the government.
