JAKARTA – The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, removed Bayu Meghantara as mayor of the central administration of Jakarta and Andono Warih as director of the Provincial Environmental Agency of DKI in Jakarta because they were considered negligent in carrying out instructions and duties.

In accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 11 of 2017 on Management of Public Servants, both are relieved of their respective positions.

The Acting Regional Secretary (Sekda) of DKI Jakarta Province Sri Haryati said the two were released based on the audit results of the DKI Jakarta provincial inspection. The audit assessed that both had been negligent and negligent in not obeying the instructions and instructions of the Governor.

The Inspectorate’s inspection was based on the Governor’s instruction on November 23. At that time, Governor Anies ordered the Inspectorate to examine Bayu and Andono for alleged potential violations of the governor’s directive in the regional ranks.

The governor’s directive is transmitted in writing to the ranks. Instructions are given to anticipate all possible crowd activities. Among other things, the directive related to a ban on lending Jakarta provincial government facilities to DKI or facilitating crowd activities or mass gatherings. Including the Habib Rizieq crowd in Petamburan, central Jakarta, some time ago.
