JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Military Police Detachment (Denpom) TNI secured CCTV in the case of the attack on the Ciracas Police Headquarters and the destruction of civil property that occurred in Ciracas and Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, on Saturday (8/29/2020 ) in the early hours of last morning.
In CCTV footage, TNI Denpom found two incidents.
First, the recording of the moment when the MI soldier suffered a single accident in the Ciracas area.
“According to witness testimony and CCTV footage, the MI soldier’s injuries were not due to beatings, but to a single accident,” Hadi was quoted as saying by KompasTV’s YouTube account on Sunday (8/30/2020 ).

However, this is apparently not what MI reported to fellow TNI members.
MY Soldier told a lie. He said they beat him and injured his face and body.
“It was discovered that MI soldiers had contacted 27 of their colleagues and this would be used for further development,” the TNI commander said.
MI’s false information unleashed the ire of other TNI colleagues to spit it out, committing acts of vandalism and violence against the civilian population, including at the facilities of the Ciracas Police Headquarters.
The second CCTV recording, that is, when the vandalism of the vehicle occurred.
“In the second CCTV recording when the vandalism occurred, it was seen that there was a motorcycle with two people who were strongly suspected of causing the damage,” said the TNI commander.
TNI itself has investigated 12 people in this case.

The TNI commander said that three of the 12 people admitted to having participated in the destruction of vehicles at the Ciracas Police Headquarters.
“This morning, we have recognized the three people because they have been questioned by Denpom throughout the day. The three people were the perpetrators of vandalism of motorcycles and vehicles,” said the TNI commander.
Still, the TNI commander did not clearly explain whether the 12 witnesses Denpom questioned were TNI personnel or not.
The TNI Commander emphasized that the parties shown to be involved will be prosecuted in accordance with the applicable legal process.
