KOMPAS.com – The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) is re-distributing assistance to the community in the form of Social Cash Assistance (BST) worth IDR 300,000 per month.
This Social Cash Assistance is a phase two distribution that runs until December 2020.
Previously, the Ministry of Social Affairs had distributed BST worth IDR 600,000 per month, which was distributed from April to June 2020.
The social minister, Juliari P Batubara, revealed that this aid was channeled to help people affected by Covid-19.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Social Affairs, Adhy Karyono, said that 300,000 rupees were distributed to 9 million beneficiary families (KPM).
The nine million recipients of cash welfare are not beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program (PKH).
“BST beneficiaries are not beneficiaries of PKH or cash food assistance (BPNT), the condition is that participants cannot accept PKH and BPNT,” Adhy said when contacted. Kompas.com, Saturday (7/11/2020).

According to Adhy, participants who are entitled to BST Rp. 300,000 per month are those that have data in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS).
Those who are not registered in DTKS are also entitled to obtain BST with special conditions.
“So even though it is outside the DTKS, it agrees with the local proposal that the person has been affected by Covid-19,” Adhy said.
Distribution through Himbara and Pos Indonesia
The distribution of aid worth IDR 300,000 will be channeled by transfer to the accounts of each beneficiary or through PT Pos Indonesia.
For participants who have an account, the distribution of funds will be transferred in cooperation with the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara).
“For those with BRI, BNI, Mandiri and BTN accounts, it will be transferred through banks, but if DTKS does not have an account, assistance will be channeled through PT Pos,” Adhy said.
Conditions for getting help
As reported Kompas.com, May 6, 2020, Kemensos has established a series of conditions for the communities entitled to BST, among others:
- Potential recipients are people who are included in the RT / RW data collection and who are in the village
- Potential recipients are those who have lost their livelihoods amid the corona pandemic.
- Potential recipients are not registered as recipients of other central government social assistance (bansos), such as PKH, Sebako cards, food packages, non-cash food assistance (BPNT), or pre-employment cards.
- If potential beneficiaries are not receiving social assistance from other programs, but have not been registered by the RT / RW, they can tell the village officials.
- If the potential recipient is eligible but does not have a National Identification Number (NIK) and Identity Card (KTP), the person in question will continue to receive assistance without doing a KTP first. However, the recipient must be domiciled in town and their full address will be recorded.
- If the recipient is registered and valid. Therefore, assistance will be provided in cash and not in cash. Non-cash money is transferred to the recipient’s bank account.
How to check the BST receiver
Adhy explained that the BST recipient verification mechanism can be done through the website cekbansos.siks.kemsos.go.id.
Verification is done by filling in the name and NIK. Also, there will be 3 options, namely DTKS / BDT ID, PBI JK / KIS Number and NIK.
DTKS ID is a built-in social welfare data ID or a unique DTKS ID that is typically stored at the district social office.
If you don’t have a DTKS ID, you can complete the NIK option.
These are the details of the procedure to verify BST recipients:
- Go to cekbansos.siks.kemsos.go.id.
- Select the membership ID you want
- Enter the membership number of the selected ID
- Enter a name that matches the selected ID
- Enter the two words listed in the captcha box
- Click on “Search”.
After that, an information screen about the entered ID number will appear, whether or not the ID is registered in the DTKS.
