Cristiano Ronaldo is in independent isolation after being infected with COVID-19.
BOLASPORT.COM – Cristiano Ronaldo has called the COVID-19 test nonsense because Barcelona will miss out on the Champions League on Wednesday (10/28/2020).
The match of world soccer superstars, between Cristiano Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi, was made possible when Juventus hosted Barcelona at the Allianz Stadium, on the second day of Group G, tonight.
However, the cancellation of the duel was confirmed because Cristiano still tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
Cristiano Ronaldo has gone through independent isolation since testing positive for COVID-19 on October 13 while defending the Portugal national team.
Italian media reports said that CR7 only needed a negative test result 24 hours before kick-off to be able to play in a UEFA match because he was an asymptomatic patient with no symptoms.

Ronaldo underwent a second test on Thursday (10/22/2020) according to a Sky Sports report ahead of the Juventus Vs Hellas Verona match, but still tested positive.
Ronaldo then underwent another COVID-19 test on Tuesday (10/27/2020) before the game against Barcelona, but again the results came back positive.
As a result, Ronaldo will remain absent and will cancel the meeting with Lionel Messi when Juventus face Barcelona after carrying out 3 COVID-19 tests.
A few hours before the start of the match, Ronaldo uploaded a post announcing his health.
