TANGERANG, KOMPAS.com – A woman with the initials S (47) was robbed by a woman with the initials S (47) at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang City, Banten, on Wednesday (2/17/2021).
After stealing the cell phone, S gave the cell phone to her son. He felt that his son needed the cell phone to work.
Police then arrested the suspect in Cakung, North Jakarta, on Monday (2/22/2021). The investigator accused S of article 362 of the Penal Code in relation to the theft.
Akbar has recently refused to pursue the matter on humanitarian grounds.
“Yes, it is really sad, because the only source of life is his mother. Investigators said ‘I want to continue or not, I will say no,'” said Akbar at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Headquarters, Tangerang City, Banten, during a press conference for the theft case, Wednesday (2/24/2021).
“He (the perpetrator) spoke to me, it’s a cell phone for online schools. Wow, I’m sorry too,” he added.

Besides that, Akbar also forgave the suspect’s behavior. The Instagram user with 1.1 million followers also gave S.
“I gave him money to buy a cell phone,” Akbar said.
Kapolresta Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Kombes Pol Adi Ferdian, said his party implements restorative justice.
This is a system in which a suspect receives justice without having to go through a court.
“For the legal process we have enforced it to achieve legal certainty about what the victim said,” said Adi.
“The victim feels that his belongings have been returned to him, the victim considers aspects of humanity and others,” Adi added.

Previously, Akbar, aka Adjudan Pribadi, had just arrived from Makassar, South Sulawesi, at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Wednesday of last week.
When Akbar was waiting for his choice, he took off his jacket and put down his cell phone.
When the taxi that picked him up, Akbar accidentally left some of the items.
While in the vehicle, Akbar realized that his cell phone had been left behind.
Akbar returns to where he left his cell phone. However, since he could not find his cell phone, Akbar asked his brother-in-law to report his loss to the police.
“Based on that report, the Airport Police conducted an investigation. Later, the Criminal Investigation Unit managed to discover the perpetrator who took the victim’s valuables, ”said Adi.
