Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

lawyer Razman Arif Nasution admitted that he had received threats when he decided to resign as Head of Advocacy and Law Democratic party The fortress of Moeldoko.

Razman decided to resign after the Ministry of Law and Human Rights rejected the request of the Democratic leadership as a result of the Extraordinary Congress (KLB) in Deli Serdang.

“Before, I received many calls, some reminded me of threats and others, I am not afraid,” Razman said at his office in Kuningan, south Jakarta, on Friday (2/4).

According to Razman, he received a phone call reminding him not to back down. According to him, the threat warned that Razman’s decision was risky for his safety and that of his family.

Razman did not explain who posed the threat. He only made sure that his decision to resign was round and low-key.

“I replied that I was not afraid and that I still quit, because I am a fighter and not a loser,” Razman explained.

Razman previously claimed that his resignation was not in the interest of any group or under the orders of certain parties. He made sure that his decision to resign was purely his own.

“For me every action has a risk, especially a case of this size. It is normal for me because there are often large cases. Also, I do not know whose it is,” he said.

Razman revealed that one of the reasons for his resignation was because he felt that he was not involved in the management of the file of the request for management to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

The Extraordinary Congress Democratic Party (KLB) DPP Deli Serdang respects Razman Arif Nasution’s decision to resign as President of Defense and Law.

Democratic spokesman Muhammad Rahmad said his party had openly accepted Razman’s decision to resign.

“The DPP of the Democratic Party led by Mr. Moeldoko appreciates the political election of Razman Arif Nasution, who stated that he will resign as legal adviser and management of the Democratic Party led by Mr. Moeldoko,” Rahmad said in his written statement.
