TRIBUNNEWS.COM, SEMARANG –– Hundreds of vocational high school (SMK) students in Semarang, Central Java have been exposed to Covid-19.

This school was also used as a new group for the transmission of the corona virus Covid-19.

At this Vocational High School located in Jalan Brotojoyo, North Semarang, after gradual exams with swabs, the results were released on Friday (4/12/2020) this afternoon.

Hundreds of students are known to have been exposed to the corona virus.

The head of the Central Java Health Service, Yulianto Prabowo, confirmed this.

He said the transmission of the virus gave rise to a new group of SMK Negeri Central Java.

From various tests, 152 students were confirmed positive for corona.

Thus, the total number of positive students became 179 people, five of whom have recovered.

“Yes, it is true,” Yulianto said when contacted by the Central Java Tribune on Friday.

Safety is after they undergo a respiratory tract mucus sample exam or swab test.
