DIY NEWS – The Ministry of Social Affairs prepares Rs 87 trillion for social assistance (bansos) in 2021. This has been budgeted in the 2021 state budget.
The social assistance provided is in the form of a Family Hope Card (PKH), Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) and Cash Social Assistance (BST) program.
Social Affairs Minister Juliari Batubara said that as of today, the budget allocation limit for social assistance in the Ministry of Social Affairs ranges from Rs 86 trillion to Rs 87 trillion. However, this amount is subject to change at any time.

“We don’t know if this allocation ceiling has been changed again or not,” he said.
However, basically to help people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, all ministries and agencies have reallocated their budgets.

Regarding the distribution of social assistance, Minister Ari’s nickname said that for the past two months there had been no major obstacles due to bad weather in various areas.
Physical distribution has also been completed, such as rice welfare for 10 million beneficiary families (KPM). While the ones that are still running today are not cash.
