Suara.com – Jakarta DKI Governor Anies Baswedan follows a sudden inspection (sidak) for violations of Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) rules in a restaurant or cafe. Yesterday, Thursday (3/9/2020) evening, Anies and his entourage visited Tebalik Kopi in Jalan Haji Nawi, South Jakarta.

From the video received Suara.com From the DKI Provincial Council, Anies was seen wearing the clothes of the Public Function Police Unit (Satpol PP). He was also accompanied by the director of the PP of Jakarta Satpol, Arifin.

In the recording it can be seen that the visitors behind the cafe did not implement the PSBB protocol well. The cafe appears to be full and the guests sit next to each other.

Inside the cafe, music can be heard loud enough to accompany visitors enjoying their food. However, it was also seen that one of the employees was still working with a mask and face shield.

Seeing this, Anies called the manager of the cafe. She questioned the application of the Covid-19 preventive health protocol in coffee.

“Where is the protocol? Do you know the rules?” Anies asked the technician in a video quoted on Friday (4/9/2020).

“You know, sir,” the man replied.

Anies went back to look for the manager who claimed to know the protocol. She said the policy she made was not implemented in the cafe.

He then gave the man a warning and asked him to close the cafe. The former Minister of Education and Culture also referred to the safety of citizens’ lives if the protocol is ignored.

“Why is it being violated? This is not (a matter of) breaking the rules, it is a matter of life. You are closed now and don’t repeat it,” he said.

Hearing his order, a woman using a loudspeaker immediately asked visitors to go home.

“Good evening to the customers who are present tonight, we apologize that tonight Tebalik Kopi is closed. Therefore, you are welcome to leave Tebalik Kopi,” said the woman.

After giving the announcement, Anies approached the woman. She stated that if she wanted to reopen the cafe, the regulated sanitary protocols should be applied.

“If you want to reopen, run the protocol, reduce 50 percent,” he concluded.

As a result of this incident, the reverse manager of the cafe was fined 10 million rupees. In addition, a temporary closure was also made.
