The French Foreign Ministry reported a bomb attack on a non-Muslim cemetery in Jeddah during a memorial service for the end of World War I there. The memorial service attended by several consulates, including the French consulate, is said to have injured several people in the incident.
After the explosion, it was observed that the exchange rate of the United States dollar (US) against the rupee had strengthened again. Compared to other currencies, it was noted that the US dollar had strengthened the majority. Uncle Sam’s currency is only inferior to the South Korean won, the Thai baht, and the Taiwanese dollar.
In yesterday’s trade, the rupee was strong, pushing the US dollar to 13,930 rupees before finally closing at 14,060 rupees.
Meanwhile, according to RTI data, the US dollar is currently at the Rs 14,073 level. This morning, the US dollar opened at the level of 14,038 rupees. Uncle Sam’s coin today is at its highest at 14,104 IDR and lowest at 14,011 IDR. On a daily basis, the US dollar strengthened 0.25%.
While weekly the US dollar weakened 3.21%. Uncle Sam’s currency in the last month was also 4.13% weak, likewise in the last three months it also fell 4.17% and in the last six months it fell 5.33%.
