The man of the city Bogor, West Java, with the initials AJ (24) who allegedly insulted Brimob as ‘Kacung China’ related to the removal of billboards for the Grand Imam of the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) Rizieq Shihab threatened with 6 years in prison.
Currently, the perpetrator has been named a suspect and detained in the Bogor City Police.

AJ was arrested by Brimob members in Corat-Coret Park, Bogor City, last Sunday (11/22). The man was immediately handed over to the Bogor Satreskrim city police. The arrest came as a result of AJ’s comments through the Instagram account @ albian_31 about the upload of the Instagram account @brimob_id last Saturday (11/21).
AJ commented on the charge with mocking writing after seeing the action of Brimob staff taking down the billboards of FPI High Priest Habib Rizieq in Pemalang Regency, Central Java.
“There is nothing to do, Brimob does the job of destroying billboards. It is difficult for Chinese lackeys, haha, really,” wrote the Instagram account @ albian_31.
AJ has also expressed his apology through a video uploaded by the Instagram account @brimob_id on Monday (11/23) yesterday. In the video, AJ, with a national identity card (KTP), admits that he is sorry and apologizes to Brimob.
“Honestly, it was me who said dirty to Brimob, I apologize profusely, I am very sorry sir. I apologize sir, I apologize to all Indonesian citizens, especially to the Indonesian Mobile Brigade,” AJ said seen from the recording of the video.
The video also includes the voices of several men calling out to AJ to apologize.
“You see what we are? We are not Chinese? You are insulting again, Indonesia is a unitary state,” said the man whose voice was heard on the video.
Regarding AJ’s apology, Hendri stated that the Bogor City Police would continue the legal process. In the near future, AJ’s case files will soon be transferred to the Bogor City District Prosecutor’s Office.
“If the legal process continues, later in court the judge’s consideration will go through the legal process, as soon as possible the finished files will be presented to the court,” Hendri continued.
In this case, AJ is trapped by Article 28 paragraph (2) Jo Article 45A paragraph (2) or Article 27 paragraph (3) Jo Article 45 paragraph (3) of Law Number 19 of 2016 Amendments to Law Number 11 2008 on Information and electronic transactions.
