JAKARTA – The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) ensures the disbursement of wage subsidies of 1.2 million IDR in the program Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) for users of private bank accounts, it has been disbursed since September 2, 2020. Disbursements are made simultaneously to workers with state bank accounts.

Manpower Minister (Menaker) Ida Fauziah said 1.9 million beneficiary accounts were recorded as having received fund transfers to both Himbara and non-Himbara bank accounts on September 2, 2020.

The number of beneficiaries is relatively small compared to the government’s goal in the second wave of disbursement of 3 million wage subsidies.

That, said Ida, there are many beneficiary participant accounts that are inactive. Therefore, the Ministry of Labor returns the data to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan for forwarding to the grant recipients.

“As of yesterday (September 2, 2020, there were 1.9 million (recipients), the remaining data, for example, the account was inactive. We returned it to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, which was passed on to co-workers. So , we want to broadcast it here, for co-workers, send an active account number, that’s the most important thing, which makes it easier for us to make transfers to the accounts, “said Ida, Jakarta, on Thursday (3/9/2020).

Meanwhile, regarding the slowdown in receiving funds for users of private bank accounts, Ida explained that the mechanism for channeling Bank Himbara and non-Bank Himbara salary subsidy funds to receiving accounts remains the same.

However, there is a maintenance of bank administration that regulates the timing of distribution. For Himbara, the disbursement time can be made within one day, if the account used by the recipient is BRI, BTN, Mandiri and BNI.

Meanwhile, the 1.2 million IDR wage subsidy fund will only be disbursed within 5 days for workers using non-Himbara or private bank accounts such as BCA, CIMB Niaga, Danamon, Maybank, OCBC NISP and Panin.

“The government bank is a channel bank, the channel bank is transferred directly to the workers ‘accounts, the workers’ accounts have government and private bank accounts. We do not differentiate between government and private accounts. So, from 1.9 I think also there are many recipients. private banks, “Ida said.

Meanwhile, the head of the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Manpower, Soes Hindharno, said that, in principle, the government had distributed the wage subsidy budget to the state banks. From here, several state banks will make transfers directly to recipients using BRI, BNI, Mandiri and BTN accounts.

Meanwhile, for non-Himbara bank account users, the funds are first transferred to private banks and then distributed to some recipients.

In fact, he said, if there was a delay in the distribution it was because the beneficiary’s account was identified as inactive or he had two different bank accounts.

“In terms of data accumulation, if the data is correct, of course we will have received subsidies. If two accounts have been found, we will validate them and return them to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to complete the data,” he said.
