Biden Birukan Rust Belt, Sun Belt and the Congressional District
Biden managed to meet a total of 5 swing states and 1 congressional district from Trump. The color blue as it is known is the color that is synonymous with the Democratic Party of the United States.
Among these states are the trio of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan scattered across the industrial Rust Belt.
Then Georgia and Arizona, which are in the Sun Belt area. And the last one is Nebraska’s second congressional district.
The key to Biden’s victory was his success in restoring the Democratic Party stronghold o “Blue Firewall” on the Rust Belt.
During six consecutive presidential elections from 1992 to 2016, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan have always voted together for the Democratic presidential candidate until Trump ousted Democratic power in the 2016 presidential election.

While Trump remains superior among the blue-collar voting bloc that dominates the 3 states, Biden managed to eliminate the majority of the 74-year-old president.
This success, along with the shift from suburban voters to Democrats, was enough for Biden to make Trump a one-term president.
The victories in Arizona and Georgia were sweet historic victories for Biden.
The senior politician, who turns 78 on November 20, will become the first Democratic presidential candidate since Bill Clinton, who triumphed by blurring the two states that are the strong base of the Republican Party.
Georgia and Arizona, which are two swing states Clinton only won in the 1992 presidential elections and the 1996 presidential elections.
Biden’s achievements in Arizona have been phenomenal because the state where the Grand Canyon is located is the birthplace of the conservative ideology of modern Republicans through the figure of the legendary Senator Barry Goldwater.
Not forgetting that Arizona has also been represented by the late Republican Senator John McCain, who was defeated by Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential election.
Before Clinton won, the last Democratic presidential candidate to win in Arizona was former President Harry Truman in the presidential election of 1948 or 72 years ago.
Meanwhile, Georgia has shown signs of being competitive since Obama was elected. Trump is only 5 points ahead of Hillary Clinton in Peach state in the 2016 presidential election.

Biden’s success is supported by demographic shifts in the two states where minority voter turnout is increasing, namely Hispanics in Arizona and African Americans in Georgia. These two voting blocs are the traditional Democratic voter base.
Especially in Georgia, the dizzying vote of Democrats in the city of Atlanta and the surrounding suburbs is a crucial key to defeating Trump.
Presidential election results in Georgia are expected to be tighter than any other state. Currently, Biden is ahead of 14,172 votes or 0.29 percent.
Biden’s victory in Nebraska’s second congressional district is not that surprising, as the district is dominated by suburban voters with sultry college studies with four years of chaos and controversy over the Trump administration.
As in other states, this bloc of voters transferred their support to Jill Biden’s husband in the 2020 presidential election.
