Reporting from I24News, Alwiya Alwaad Alhaq, if it translates directly to “True Promise Brigade”, posted long messages on his Telegram account.
The group, allegedly based in Iraq, claims it deliberately targeted multiple targets in Riyadh.
“Following the insistence of the Arabs in the Arabian Gulf for the crimes against the countries of the region, we, the children of the Arabian Peninsula, have kept our promise and sent buzz terror in the kingdom of Al-Saud and targeting its stronghold at the Al Yamamah Palace and other targets in Riyadh, “the statement read.

The group claims the attack was in retaliation for Saudi Arabia’s “support” of the ISIS terror group.
Alwiya Alwaad Alhaq stressed that the attempted attack in Riyadh was an act of revenge for the deadly bombing of the Baghdad market.
The bombing in Baghdad took place on Thursday (1/21/2021) that killed 32 people and injured more than 100. ISIS claimed responsibility for the bombing.

The Houthi militia group in Yemen, which is backed by Iran, immediately distanced itself and denied carrying out the attack.
However, the Houthis have carried out several attacks. buzz and cross-border missiles against Saudi-owned facilities in Jeddah and in the Red Sea.
