WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com – The United States Presidential Security Force or the Secret Service has tightened security on Joe Biden, because the Democratic presidential candidate is about to win the 2020 US presidential election.

The Paspampres sent an additional squad to Biden’s campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, according to reports. The Washington Post on Friday (11/6/2020).

The 77-year-old presidential candidate is also expected to announce his victory on Friday afternoon local time, as he continues to widen the vote gap with Donald Trump in the US elections.

The Secret Service, an agency under the auspices of the US Department of Homeland Security, is responsible for protecting the White House and high-ranking government officials, visiting dignitaries, and others.

They had previously deployed personnel to protect Biden in early July, after he won the preliminary elections (primary) Democratic party.

As a former vice president, Biden could have asked for the protection of Paspampres before that, but apparently he didn’t.

Then, if Biden becomes president after winning the US election, Secret Service protection will be upgraded to the highest level.
