Biden defeats Trump, foreigners last 10 shares

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was significantly corrected at the close of business on Wednesday (11/4/2020) amid global sentiment in the US presidential election, when incumbent Donald Trump-Mike Pence fought Joe Biden -Kamala Harris.

Trading data shows that the country’s benchmark stock index rallied in the first trading session and then crashed in the second session.

Finally, JCI closed, corrected 1.05% to 5,105.2. Total registered transactions reached Rp. 8.02 trillion. Foreigners posted net sales or net sale on the regular market worth 123.3 billion rupees.


The shares sold by foreigners are a trio of state-owned bank stocks, namely PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) and PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBRI).

Meanwhile, the shares collected by foreigners are shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), shares of PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) and shares of conglomerate PT Astra International Tbk (ASII).
